Have you ever thought of giving up a dream?~
Just 'finished' chinese tuition today...and well...my teacher asked where I was going to go with my studies. What kind of job would you like to do when you grow up? [Oral topic] Yeah I kno I kno, MT O level exams are over already so why still got tuition? Apparently my father wants me to continue till we kno our MT results...and well the teacher could obviously tell I'm a bit reluctant. SoOo anyways back to the topic~
I practically have absolutely no idea wad kind of job i wan when i grow up. I dun wanna be jus some dude there doing business. Or a worker at some company. To me...those jobs are juz plain boring. But...if those aren't the jobs I am going to do...then wad am I going to work as in the future>???
For those who know me, know that I love to coop up ideas for stories and battles. From character designs to weapon designs...and well have this dream to be an ACTUAL game designer from singapore. BUT how the hell I am going to get there???
Sighs...once again...i have no idea... @_@'

*Sees the same clothes as he does everyday* (-_-)'
I seriously need to go shopping...
Haha...its just a thought. Anyways...so how is everyone doing so far on their 'holidays'? World cup began yesterday, umm...technically today and WC fever shuld be spreading around the world now. Hmm but some how, the days that go by still seems boring...especially when there are still tonnes of homework to finish...and revision that u're obligated to do. Finished one paper today, and then got hooked on initial d again. Been doing that quite often lately...aaahhh... Jus dun feel like doing homework. >.<'
Well intensive studying will start soon for me as well...seriously not looking forward to it. But unfortunately...it is unavoidable if i plan to do ok for my mid-yr...
Sighs...think i'll go back and brush up on my driving skills... [inital d-ing somemore]

As how most people put it, time flies...when you least expect it to. We're sec 4 this year, and taking our O levels sooner then we may think. And after that...in a way...we might be saying goodbye to someone for the very last time as we might never see that person again. At the end of our story together, another will begin. And then everyone would be leading seperate lives then. And in that sense...what lies ahead after our hardwork and determination?
More hardwork...and perhaps even bitterness as our lives continue...and yet despite these endings...we must continue to work hard, study hard...for what?
Hope? Love? Maybe even for time to do the things you want later on... What's your reason for struggling so hard? Have you ever thought of it? The things that motivates you.
Well I just let my chinese tuition teacher looked at the O level paper we took. And well...I did pretty badly for the first part. With that...I wondered if i dissappointed her? And on to another subject, english...i did horribly for paper two. Okays then, how about math? Lets not even go there! [Forgotten so many formulas...] *Sighs like an old man*
And for some reason...a heavy sense of saddness has befallen me. >_<'

Frozen wings~ Drift nine.
The year was 2157.
Deep within the cold regions of Mount Everest, was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A gigantic ice cave the size of a shopping mall was discovered there by one of the hikers who wanted to overcome the mountain. Within it, lied many ice walls that later on were found to be part of an ice maze that filled up the entire cave. Afraid of losing their way inside the maze, no one had ever dared to explore it and discover what secrets were hidden within.
Thus, no one could figure out how the cave came to be...or what the maze was trying to protect from curious visitors. From the looks of it, the maze looked like it was formed naturally, but yet...it was almost impossible for it to form just nicely to make complicated mazes like this. It had people wondering if other beings from another planet were responsible for it. In that thought, it became one of the six wonders of the world. However tourist and researchers were always discouraged by the cold to explore the maze. So hardly anyone ever visited it...and it was almost forgotten before one day, a bold and famous researcher decided to do an expedition on it. What he found...would soon change the world we knew it forever...
A group of reporters gathered around the middle aged man and his team of scientists as they were about to board the plane, questions were continuingly shooting at them. "Why the sudden interest in the maze professor Karris?" "Is it true you believe a new species of dinosaurs might be hidden deep within it like those you had found in the Grand Canyon before?" "Does it have any relation to your previous research?"
The professor signaled for the press to calm down as he told them that he would answer them one by one. "Firstly...I don’t know what we might find there. It could be anything and yet...nothing at all. We are just heading out to clear everyone's doubts concerning that place. My group of researchers and I had always been fascinated by the wonders of the world, this is just a first step in our goal to solving all of their mysteries."
"So you would be going to other 'wonders' after you've finished with this one, right?"
"Yes...now if you'll excuse me...my plane is about to take off."
As the group boarded the plane, one of the professor's team members asked him, "Seriously speaking...what you expect to find there?"
The middle-aged man in a brown jacket and matching blue jeans grinned widely before answering. "Something amazing...there's no doubt about it."
However his confident answer soon turned out to be the exact opposite of what they found for the first few weeks. They had explored almost half of the maze...but yet found nothing but just more and more ice walls and passages. However the professor never gave up and remained optimistic about their expedition. His team on the other hand...was losing morale with each passing day. And before long they got fed up as they found their final and last passage to come to another dead end. "This is ridiculous...I hate to say this but...there's nothing here professor."
Karris pretended to be indulged in his work, so as to ignore his comment. As he continued to examine the ice wall that was blocking their passage, he asked that very same assistant. "Did you bring the drill I asked for?"
"Yes but still...don't you think this is just a waste of time?"
Before that, there were already many other complains that day. However it never bothered the professor, as he knew they would continue working. But saying that what they were doing was just a waste of time finally got to him. As much as he hated to admit it...he knew that...they might just very well be right... "Look. If you can't even have the patience to see things through, then how in the world do you expect to accomplish anything? This is just the beginning...there are so many other places in this world we have to explore. So much more work to do... There would be times when we might find something incredible, but there would also be others when we won't find anything at all. So if you can't take it...then I suggest you should save yourself the trouble, and just go ahead and quit."
Lost for words...the assistant could only go back to their campsite to get the drill. After all...they were in the middle of nowhere, its not like there was any other place he could go to if he had quit. And in a way...he couldn't help but agree with the man...
In life...things don't always go your way...
And with the drill finally in place and working, everyone gathered around in wait to see what they would find. Everyone was eager to know...if the efforts of their work would pay off. That all the cold they had embraced was worth it. In a few moments, their burning desire to know would all be quenched.
The wall of ice broke, revealing even larger walls of ice...but this time...the walls were connected to allow only one straight path to walk towards a chamber. The professor smiled at the sight and said to his team, "Behold..."
Yes...most times, things don't go our way. Though sometimes things do...and that might not exactly be a good thing.
Behind the frozen wall was a long pathway towards a large chamber of ice. Along the path were large ice walls that contained within them weird creatures and pieces of a broken pirate ship. As the professor walked down the so-called hallway, he realized that the creatures that were frozen within looked a lot like their fellow humans. Just that the creatures had sharper ears and horns on their heads. Some located higher up even had wings. "Incredible." He whispered to himself in amazement as he presumed that these creatures must have been part of a different breed of human beings. However what was frozen at the end of the chamber...would change the way he saw the world forever. As behind the frozen ice, was a young girl with a pair of tainted white wings sticking out from her back. Yes...there was no mistake...it was a real life angel, the discovery of the century.
~***~
Five years have past since that day...and another group of two was nearing the excavation site. Covered in gray robes to protect themselves from the cold weather, the two marched on in the deep snow. One was a young man, the other a female who didn't look any older then him. Together they approached what remains of the maze...in search of the truth. As they were nearing the site, the female finally asked a burning question she had been dying to ask.
"We're going to the ice maze right? You've brought me all the way here...to this treacherous ice mountain without even letting me leave a goodbye to them...Now that we're soon nearing it...its high time I know why..."
The man who was walking in front of her stopped for a moment and turned his head slightly to answer her. "You'll know soon enough..." And they continued on like this for another moment before the young lady could no longer contain the fear she felt about the truth. Shivering in cold and desperation, she fell to her knees and cried out to the man.
"No...you don't get it... I think...I already do...I know what I am Reiner..."
~***~
It was during the time the two stayed in the hotel on the foot of the mountain, that she discovered the terrible truth. The man had to run some errands on that day...and regrettably...he had forgotten to lock the door to his room. The lady, seeing his laptop still turned on decided to help switch it off for him...But what she didn't know was that what Reiner was viewing before...was actually an entire file of her life. Even parts where she didn't knew about.
"The reason I came along with you...everything I wanted to know...it should all be here then." She said to herself as she saw her name at the top of the computer file. "RENA"
As she read through the words, she could distinctly recall the exact words the man had said to her on that supposedly special day, her birthday.
They were alone then...and were taking the subway to her house. There was no shortage of seats on that day as well, as the carriage was pretty much empty. Everything was going well for them. They had the train all to themselves...but oddly, as Rena made herself comfortable by seating. Reiner decided to stand and lean on a pole in front of her instead.
"Happy birthday Rena." He said with a gentle smile.
"Heh...thanks..." she replied happily as they were on their way to a birthday party held at her house. And...Krion was going to be there.
"Do you remember your real birthday though?" Reiner asked doubtfully.
At that moment, the cheerful mood between them quickly changed. And Rena tried her best to reply without sounding sad, "How could I? I don't remember the things that happened before I was ten. Besides...does it matter? I'm content with what I have."
Reiner's face soon had a smirk on it. He could tell that she was lying. "Are you sure? What if I told you...I know when is your real birthday...that I know why you lost your memories? That I know who your real parents are?"
Pretending it was a joke, Rena decided to reply playfully. "Oh stop kidding around Reiner...we're almost there."
"Oh, but I'm speaking the truth daughter of angels." Reiner said with such confidence that Rena couldn't help but be convince that he knew something she didn't. "Just who are you Reiner? I've always thought you were just joking about these things...But if you are for real...since you know something about my past...then tell me!"
"That's my intention all along Rena...but on one condition though..." he said slyly.
"Name it." Rena replied immediately, as she could no longer stand his teasing.
"Fine then...come with me. Skip the party tonight and come with me. I'll show you what I know. And then you'll understand why I've always told you that you and he could never work out."
After a moment of hesitation...the lady of angels agreed.
~***~
"So...you've discovered the truth...well then, let us hasten our pace. You need to face your past sooner or later anyways." Reiner instructed as he began walking faster towards the ice cave. Rena followed closely behind without even uttering a single word of resistance. After all...it was she who wanted to know the truth...and now...there's no turning back.
When they finally reached the cave...they found it to be sealed up by large, fallen pieces of ice. Reiner in response took out a much worn out scroll from his jacket. Holding it up towards the ice, he whispered out the words 'Release, my inferno...'
A gush of red wind was then summoned, blasting through the ice and creating a path for them.
As they walked along the newly opened pathway, Reiner began his explanation to Rena.
"Five years back...you were discovered by a group of researchers. You were living proof that angels existed and lived among us. And not only that, your body was dated to be over three thousand years old...causing many researchers to believe that an ancient civilization existed. However that was where the discoveries ended for them. You were stolen only a few days after recovering you. And the cave was soon lost to the researchers as well due to an unnatural earthquake causing the cave to collapse.''
"So...I'm an angel...right? That much I know...but u said u knew my birthday...that u knew who my parents are..."
"Yes...I did say that. You see...in search for ancient scrolls, my master found a passage in the written history of the ancient civilization, mentioning about the door to the heavens...and the scrolls guarding the door."
"I don't care about this stuff! What do they have to do with me anyways?"
"Well...my lady, it concerns you greatly...because you are the key, the goddess who was destined to open the door. Only with your blood, will the seal be broken. In pursuit to end your life so that the angels would not have the chance to use the powers of the gods, the demons chasing you were frozen together with your ship by a weird phenomenon later on named as the "Glacier storm." It was a storm that freezes everything in its path, and the mark of the beginning of the end of the world."
"So all that stuff about knowing my parents...about my birthday... You were lying weren't you? You never met them before...how could you? They died over three thousand years ago...I'm...I'm...No...it's not possible to meet them anymore."
However as soon as the pathway ended and they entered the hidden chamber, Reiner shouted out loudly and pointed to a blur couple hugging each other. Surrounding them were the remains of a broken ship. But the flag from that ship frozen by the ice had a symbol not like an angel but of a devil’s. It was a devil's ship. "On the contrary lady of angels, there they are...I presume they were trying to save you."
Rena was pleasantly surprised...she was going to see them after all. Her wish, her reason to travel all the way here with Reiner...was partially fulfilled... In her moment of joy, she ran towards where they were. Even though they are now frozen and couldn't reply her...it was still comforting to know that they were only an ice wall away from her. And yet that very fact quickly made her depressed. It was a bittersweet meeting...but a meeting non-the less. Kneeling down before them, she tried to hug the ice though it was painstakingly cold and would soon give her skin frostbites. "Am I home?" she asked doubtfully, as her heart still felt like something was amiss.
Upon hearing that question, Reiner stared at her as though she was nothing more but a pitiful stranger to him. Even though they had only known each other for only a year, the times he and she spent with Krion and his siblings were blissful and filled with mostly joy. Because of that...he had always thought that she was truly happy there, but she proved him wrong when she agreed to go with him, and now she proved him wrong once again...
"They say home is where your heart is lady. Do you know where your heart lies now?" Reiner decided to ask with a serious tone of voice.
Rena didn't know the answer...the only thing she could think of this past year was to meet her parents...nothing else mattered during that year...and so...her heart had forgotten. It was though the mention of the word 'parents' had triggered a spell on her.
"I'm afraid...I cannot recall..."
Letting out a sigh of disappointment, Reiner decided to give her hints, "Is it with a person? Is it with a place? Think Rena...recall...when was the last time your heart felt like it belonged somewhere?"
Taking his advice without question, like a naive child, her eyes began staring aimlessly, her mind blank before was now starting to be filled with memories...and a familiar voice.
Just the two of us...
Remember?
I told you once...as long as I am with you...my world is all I can ask for.
Is yours like that too?
Moments she spent with him...moments she was angry with him...moments she was crying with him...and yes...moments she was smiling with him.
"Krion." She whispered to herself as she finally remembered.
'Perhaps what I was looking for...was there all along...' she thought to herself, as her eyes couldn’t help but shed tears of sadness. And with that thought...her tired soul led her to sleep. Reiner who was looking from a distance away, led out a gently grin before the moment was interrupted by a strong and confident voice.
"So that's why she left..."
"Hien..." Reiner whispered as he recognized his voice, the voice of Krion's brother. He was a young teenager around the same age as Reiner. His brown hair was styled upwards on one side, while the other side slightly covering part of his emerald eyes. Wearing a white mantle accompanied with a sleeveless coat. Reiner could sense his increase in angelic energy as Hien took out a pair of feathers from beneath his coat. "It's been a long time hasn't it Reiner?"
"It has...but nothing's change with the situation of our last meeting and the one now... You came for her didn't you? For Krion's sake, am I right?" Reiner questioned as he turned his body slowly to face him.
"I'm afraid that is incorrect Reiner, lapdog of my father. I come for the sake of the world. Besides...I've got a score yet to settle with you." Hien replied as he began his slow steps forward.
"Ah. I see...you come for the Devil's sake. I see no other way then...this won't end if I don't defeat you here!" Reiner shouted as he extended a pair of swords right out from the flesh of his palms and charged towards Hien with them.
"Yes...lets settle it here and now!" Hien fired back, annoyed and frustrated as he recalled their last encounter. Welding a feather in each hand, he whispered the command, "Unfold, feathers of abhorrence." And the feathers soon multiplied themselves, covering Hien's hands while falling to the floor. As they did, a pair of winged swords could be seen in each hand as they clashed almost immediately as they appeared upon Reiner's own bloody swords. Unlocking their swords against each other, Reiner retreated back before extending blades from each of his fingers and charging forward again. However he was soon stopped by a swing of Hien's sword upwards, sending the feathers that had fallen, up afloat again blinding him from his enemy. And within that moment, he could feel his back being sliced, and the blood flowing out from the wound splashing onto the icy floor behind him. "Fast...I couldn't even sense he was coming..." Reiner whispered in disbelief.
As Reiner tried his best to continue standing, he tried to find him again. However he soon found himself being slashed again by a sharp blast of energy on to his shoulder. "It appears you've gotten stronger Hien..." Reiner commented as he fell to his knees while panting and trying to cope with the pain. "But I'm afraid..." he continued as he stood back up again, and crushed another blast of energy that was flying towards him. "You're not that strong!"
With that, Reiner dash towards Hien again. Dodging any blasts of light flying towards him and clashing as hard as he could against Hien's swords, forcing the angel back a step. The two were then soon locked in an intense sword fight as they exchanged blows with each other. As they continued, the friction of their swords sliding against each other created a rain of sparks around them till one final blow was sent towards each other. When the blow occurred, Reiner found himself being blown back by the intense forces exploding from their swords...they seemed evenly matched. Or so he thought till he faintly saw Hien above him grinning followed by a sharp light flying towards him, slashing again at his shoulder wound. Screaming in pain, his body spun and crashed into an ice wall, shattering the ice structures around him.
Hien waited for any signs of fight left in Reiner before approaching closer to retrieve Rena's sleeping body. As he lifted her up with both hands, Reiner's annoyed voice could be heard shouting at him. "Heh what about mother? Are you coming for her soon?"
Hien upon hearing that, he stared coldly at the defeated Reiner before replying. "Yeah...you can be sure of that."
"Ah...that's good. I'll be waiting then."
End~

[Went to watch tv]
Waahh just finished a touching scene...then one very exciting one...then....then....comercial break.......................................................... ><'
Nevermind...still have another hour...
Okays...back to blogging...
Well I'm sure everyone had gotten back their CA1 results as well, did you all do well? Well the main thing is that...I was totally unsatisfied with my english marks...kept questioning if I was truly that lousy...What's worse is that Shao Hong scored 4 marks more then mi...which is ALOT!!!! Which as well equals to my so called trademark phrase this year...
"SIGHS..."
Well can't say I disagree that I use it alot this few months...but then...that's how my life has been... Just plainly disapointing.
Is it my fault?
Just what did I do to be fated like this?
Disapointing fate makes one sigh,
no amount of light is sufficient to brighten up one's life.
Lost and confusion is part of everyone's days.
Smiles forgotten, frowns remains...
Tell me...
How is your life?

Currently taking a break [a long break] from studying. And you know what I learnt? Life SUX haha...
Okay okay...enough ranting...
Well lets see now...recently as I'm studying I tend to listen to the radio to get my mind off things...and well there was this story that really...hmm...dunno how to describe...its just a story that questions people's goal in life.
It goes something like this,
Once upon a time, there was a fisherman living on an island. Everyday he would catch some fishes, go back home. Spend the day chatting with friends and the nights on long walks on the beach with his wife. One day a young scholar came to this island on holiday. He too decided to go fishing. However no matter how hard he tried, he just could not get a good catch. While for the fisherman, even though all he had was a small net...he always came back with a good catch. One day the scholar couldn't stand it any longer, he went up to the fisherman and asked how come he could catch fish so well. The fisherman simply said that it was because he knew the area well.
The scholar then suggested he start his own fishing company, the fisherman simply replied with a question, "Then what?"
"Then you can earn enough money to expand your company. Buy more boats, hire more people." he replied.
"Then what?" the fisherman asked again.
"Then you can go to ammerica to expand your company even further! And make alot alot of money!"
"Then what?"
"Well...once you have earned money you can retire to an island. Maybe fish for fun? Chat with friends all day? Spend romantic moments with your wife during the night?"
The fisherman grinned when he heard that, and replied in a questioning tone, "Isn't that my life now?"
THE END
Sighs...was there ever a time you felt like just lying down and die? Well anyways...I've been thinking of writing a new different story...I'll post more about it when I have the chance...for now...I just feel like dying...

Well read on then my friend. I'm currently ignoring the pile of homework in my bag and here typing. Wait a minute...just for one second...its valentine day right? So if there should be any reason to ignore homework...wouldn't it be because you wanted to spend more time with your special someone? Instead I'm here shooting my mouth off. Just came out of my bathroom screaming as well...guess it wasn't enough...I'm not okay....I'm still not okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sighs...she totally blew me off...disappeared without a trace. Well at least I got juz a tiny winny little bit of affection from her this morning right? Should I be rejoicing? For goodness sake NO!
Everything has changed...whenever I told her the three special words, she would always say it back to me to let me know she feels the same way. And the emotional words of our charm, when I promised...she would usually promised back as well...maybe I'm over-reacting? Maybe she's just stressed out by sec 3 life? Or maybe its me who is totally freaking out cause of everything I need to do for sec4...
Whichever the case...I'm not okay...I'm not okay... I find myself slowly becoming darker...my personality as well... Is it because I've been hurt too much? Is it because of stress? That I'm becoming this person I do not reconigze... Or did the devil in me finally found its way out through sheer force of depression...
She didn't even wish me a happy valentine day...
It didn't matter to her anymore...
How I feel...is none of her concern...
I'm not okay...
I wish to smile...
Smile like a devil!
All I wanted from her...I did not get...all I detested about her...they come in two folds?
I'm crying, smiling madly?... Screaming definitely...Wishing for her? Maybe...but it would only be for an explaination...
Do you know me? I ask...maybe...maybe not...but if you don't know me...then why are you here?
Why do you claim to love me...when you don't even know when I'm feeling upset...
Oh...one who knows nothing...I'm vindicated because of you...
Set me free? If you can't even spare an effort to comfort me...then please...please leave...
Let me be anti social, let me be happy in my solitude. In my unhappy frowns...let me be me again...
I know no peace with you calling out the devil inside me~

Sunday, January 29, 2006
Yearning to be enshrouded by darkness, we feel the comfort of the night.
Though the lone star shines brightly, we do not fear its light.
Wishing and longing, we learn to take flight.
Not knowing when we'll find...
The reason why...
Fate likes to lie.
"She isn't here..." a young teenager whispered to himself as he saw a whole group of teenage girls being guided back to their transport vehicle in a panicky manner. Scanning through their faces, he confirmed the sad truth to himself before heading into the same vehicle as well.
"We have news of the kidnapped girls...tomorrow at dawn...we leave to save them."
Upon hearing the announcement of their next mission, a young man suddenly stood up from his chair. Before realizing that everyone that was seated for the briefing was now staring at him. Their commander in response made out a fake cough to attract everyone's attention back to the screen. The young teen then quickly took the opportunity to seat back down. And gave the commander a slight smile as though trying to send a message to him. "Thanks."
It was a heavily armored combination of a ship and tank, large enough to carry three cars and still have space for a few jet cycles. As soon as everyone was on board, another male's voice shouted to him from the second level of the hanger to close the door.
"Krion!" In response, the young man quickly punched in the key codes to shut the hanger doors...just in time to stop three bolts of red lighting from frying everyone inside. The next order came simultaneously, "Battle stations everyone! Jet cycle squadrons prepare to launch once we reach shore. Gunners, take your position! We're shooting down this angel!"
Outside the armored vehicle, a black winged angel was giving chase. He had stunning silky black hair, and wore a black and red coat with matching shoulder armor. In his hand was a long purple sword with the ability to extend outwards like as though there were three swords joined together by a black extending mechanism. In between the mechanism would be slots to summon bolts of lighting that he frequently use against the armored ship, but they soon prove to be pointless as the bolts immediately burst into a display of red lights when they came in contact with their target. Though his assault was failing, he didn't seem to let up and continued attacking constantly in hopes of slowing the vehicle down.
"Gunners on my signal...fire!" the commander of the ship shouted. And almost immediately, the already aimed cannons of their ship unleashed their fury upon the angel. "Heh..." the angel grinned before diving into their fire while dodging every single blast of energy and bullets. As he closed in, he positioned his sword and slash off the rail guns located on the left corner of the vehicle.
"Left arms down sir, water flooding into hanger bay. Closing second armor walls."
Simultaneously another report came in, "Frontal cannons have been disabled...electro magnetic barrier losing power... Five more strikes from his sword and we are defenseless!"
"Are we almost reaching shore?" Teris demanded to know while running towards the navigation control center of the ship. "Negative sir. It may take another fifteen minutes or so before we reach Hemi harbor."
While trying to come up with a solution, Teris moment of thought was disturbed by a piece of good news. "Two jets approaching sir. They are one of ours."
In response to the news, Teris quickly pushed a button on his earphones to establish a signal with the jets. "This is commander Teris, excellent timing. We need you to distract the angel till we reached shore. After that, we're leaving everything else to Krion's jet cycle squadron."
"Affirmative. Captain Lufi here. Black wings squadron-intercepting target in five, four three, two, one. Missiles one launching." A reply was given as from one of the computer screens in the control room, two black jets came into sight... Each firing a heat-seeking missile locked onto the angel.
The angel once noticing the tubes of doom, spun his body while extending his sword's mechanism. When he was in position he aimed and fired twin arrows of red lighting, intercepting the missiles and exploding into a red cloud of smog. As the smog distracted the pilots, he took the opportunity to dash straight towards the two jets. Once more his sword extended into eleven blades, but just as he was going to slice off one of the jet's wings...they spun side-wards dodging his sword just in time.
"Darn...just who is this guy?" Lufi thought to herself while being annoyed by the angel's speed. Launching her jet upwards into the clouds, the black winged angel followed closely behind, his sword ready to fire his already summoned arrows. As soon as she reached the clear skies above, she made sure she was hovering just in front of the sun. Blocking its rays for a certain area. And as predicted, the angel emerged from the clouds within the covered area. Lufi grinned and quickly jet away, revealing the strong rays of light unto the angel. Blinded, the angel covered the rays with one of his hands. He closed his eyes tightly as the piercing rays hurt too much to bear. Being too distracted, he soon found himself being hit by two positron explosions. Even though his mind blocked the thought of the pain, he soon found himself falling back towards the sea. His body unable to help itself crashed harshly into the blue sea. The impact caused a considerably large wave that helped his prey to finally reach the shore.
Meanwhile, Krion was waiting patiently for his turn to play out his own triumph cards against the angel. While he was waiting, he pondered upon the words of their weapon specialist.
"Are you kidding me? No human can possibly pull that off! Let alone carry that bulky thing!" Krion argued in disbelief as a middle- aged man in a white lab coat showed him the battle simulation of his new creation. "This weapon was specially designed to suit your odd preference of constantly switching guns and swords. Most people would just choose one and stick with it. But it seems that from the training records, your constant switching is slowing down your battle efficiency quite a bit. You have great potential, but your habit is driving many instructors... Ahem...a tad bit annoyed."
Upon hearing that, Krion interrupted to ask, "What does they being annoyed have to do with this piece of junk you've come up with?"
"Well...they thought that the only way to solve this problem is through your newly assigned weapon." The man explained as he lifted up the white curtains in their laboratory to reveal a twin lance the size of two tables. Walking towards the table the weapon was on, the man explained in greater detail, "Each blade can be separated into three parts a handgun, a positron blaster. And lastly a reaper like sword. There are six parts in all, joining together to be a buster sword or a twin bladed lance. Now for the most important part, all weapons have been modified to fit into the hidden wings of your jet cycle compartment. Allowing easy access...and"
Annoyed by the long speech, Krion interrupted once more, "Sighs...it doesn't matter what I say does it? I'll still have to use it..."
"Hey...I put a lot of work into this, don't make it sound like its such a bad thing." The man said disappointedly as he sat into his comfy-wheeled chair. "Haha...for one thing...you shouldn't have made it so large and heavy. I don't think anyone can lift it up when they are all joined together."
"You'll be surprise what people can do when they have been driven into a corner...and left with no other choice but to do the things they thought they once couldn't do."
"When they have no other choice huh? Was he referring to me?" Krion wondered before the announcement for their launch was sounded.
"Krion, the angel has taken down Lufi's units and is now currently right in front of us. Jet squadrons prepare to launch."
"Alright people, you know the drill!" Krion shouted as his clear and confidence voice could be heard throughout the hanger.
The count down immediately began, "Three, two, one." The armored tank opened up five doors to reveal five launch pads, each with its individual cycle firing straight towards the surprised angel. Extending his sword once more, the red lighting sprout out of his sword almost immediately. In the split second, the five cycles collided into each other and connected their frontal ram to release a large projectile of pink light. Shielding them from the angel's red lighting, while sending a powerful impact unto the angel.
"Barbaric. You cannot defeat me with mere strength." The angel commented as he clashed his sword into their pink barrier, once he had enough grip on it he broke their barrier and repelled the five cycles in random directions with an even larger force. Krion upon the impact landed back onto the initial platform where he had launched. Not wasting any time, he charged back towards the angel while activating his pressure jets on his cycle's wings causing him to fly even faster into the angel's sword. Preparing his assault, he squatted on his seat and activated the pink barrier once more. As the angel clashed with his vehicle, Krion made a leap while somersaulting forward. In his hand his already drawn swords slashing the angel as he fall. Caught by surprise, the angel's back was brutally slashed at and his black coat ruined partly into shreds. Black feathers fell inevitably, as the angel's attention soon turned from the tank to his new prey. Spinning his body, he clashed his sword with Krion's with such an incredible force that it created a vacuum causing the air around them to dash in-between their weapons and practically shattering Krion's swords.
Krion upon the impact found himself flying straight into an administrative building, quickly he positioned himself to land feet first. Not knowing that someone in response catch him by letting him land safely on the back seat of his wall dashing jet cycle. As the cycle made a jump back onto the road, Krion got a good look of the rider. "Teris!" he shouted his name, half shocked while the other half relieved.
"Just thought you might have forgotten something." He replied teasingly as he opened the winged compartment to reveal the weapons Krion insisted not to use. "Damn...did you really have to bring them along?"
"Trust me kay? I was part of the design team for this. They'll suit you nicely."
Krion upon hearing that drew out two long rifles from the compartment and set one of them to sword mode where the handle of the rifle bended to form a sword handle, the other beam mode in its original intention. "Figures." He commented with an once of sarcasm as he fired the first blast of energy towards the fast approaching angel. Dodging it with ease while sliding his fingers along the blade of his sword, the sword soon glowed bright red and the angel immediately extended it to fire a rain of red lighting on to them. Teris in response fired the twin pressure jets on his cycle, giving him a boost in speed to dodge the attack.
From first glance the angel couldn't seem to catch up to them. However as though in the split second, when the two entered the approaching corner. He appeared before them and stabbed his sword straight into the speeding cycle. The two passengers on board were sent flying into the air by the cycle's momentum as the metallic parts of the cycle exploded before them and Krion's reserved weapons came flying out as well. As though it was a reflex action from their body, Krion and Teris adjusted their bodies and landed onto the road safely. Teris while doing so caught the handgun and scythe bladed sword that, were by sheer luck falling towards him. As soon as they had aim they began firing their weapons unto the angel. Amused by their persistency to kill him, the angel merely held his sword forward while spinning his extended sword and summoning blades of red lighting to deflect the beams and bullets.
Slowly he approached them, his eyes filled with a sinister glare. Licking his lips, the angel looked as though he was about to go on an insane slaughter rampage. As Krion and Teris prepared themselves mentally, the angel while lifting his sword all of a sudden vanished before them.
However in the split second, he appeared right in front of a shocked Krion and sends a powerful blow towards him. In defense, Krion clashed his sword with the angel's but soon found himself unable to withstand the immense impact of the blow as his body without any signs of struggle found itself pushed back to a point where he felt as though he was flying backwards. Teris in response tried to slash the angel while he was distracted by running towards him as fast as he could before making a leap and spinning his body to swing his sword sideward, but once more the angel vanished before him. And reappeared a few meters away before disappearing again and reappearing to clash his sword with Teris's and causing him to struggle against being pushed back towards a building wall.
"Darn...is he teleporting?" he questioned while recovering from the attack.
"No...he's merely moving too fast that it seems that way." A gentle voice replied to him. Turning back he saw a familiar ghostly figure floating behind him. Normally such a sight would have scared the hell out of someone, but for him...it had become an everyday affair. When he realized who she was, he asked her, "Can you see his movements then?"
Smiling, she bended down to whisper into his ear. "Clearly."
However just as she finished her reply, the angel that they were talking about kicked Teris away before grabbing her by the throat. "My my... it would have seems my reapers have been severely slacking if they have let a spirit remain on this plane for such a long time that even this human has become comfortable talking to you."
While trying desperately to free herself, Rika found it difficult to say anything under the angel's grip. Meanwhile surprised by the angel's comment, Teris while getting back up got curious and questioned about his identity. "You...you can see her too...hold her even... Just...just who are you?"
Turning his head to face the worn out man, the angel replied with a sinister tone. "I am...the being who controls fear. The being who invented fear...lord of the underworld...I am the god of hell. I am...the Devil himself."
Shocked beyond belief of who the angel proclaimed himself to be, Teris fell back to his knees while trying to get up. 'So...there really is a hell and heaven...or is he trying to trick me? But he could hold her...he could hear, see and even touch her when no one else could...perhaps he truly is the Devil. But then what would he be doing here? What is his motive to capture those girls...' Teris questioned in his mind while still trying hard to believe that he was staring at the Devil himself.
All of a sudden, a voice shouted strongly, "You say that you are a god? Heh...haha...you got to be kidding me. God...gods don't exist!" Twin beams of white energy followed suit those words and were targeted straight at the angel, but once again they were deflected easily after letting the spirit go. However this time, right after the blast that had caught the angel's attention...came twin swords being swung towards him. Spinning his body, Krion slashed sideward aiming for his head. Though missing it completely, he continued spinning and slashing as the angel continued dodging backwards. "If you are a so called god...then tell me! Where in the world is she? Where is she!" he cried out while finishing his final swing before stopping to take a breath.
Silently...I was always praying to him. To that so called almighty being from the heavens...but they were never answered... I was always ignored...
On the balcony of an apartment building, two students were busy preparing for their exams. Soon one of them finished early and stood up to admire the night sky. The other joined her soon enough. "Do you think we'll pass tomorrow?" she asked curiously.
"Well...we have been studying hard these past few days...I don't see why not?" her male companion answered in a clearly doubtful tone. Upon hearing his answer, she closed her eyes, kneeled down and held her hands close to her head. Puzzled by what she was doing, the male asked, "What are you doing?"
She replied with a gentle smile, "Praying to God silly. Since you sounded so unsure. I thought it might be good to have his blessings."
"You truly do believe he exist don't you?" he questioned worriedly as he didn't believe in such things.
"He has my complete faith." She answered with no signs of doubt or worry.
Even though he didn't want her to have false hope, he soon realized how much being able to believe that she could pass must mean to her. Placing his arms around her, he whispered into her ear with great confidence. "With or without his help...we'll pass the exams tomorrow...we will. Not only cause we can believe, but because of all the effort we have put in. We'll pass tomorrow."
Her tensed body upon hearing his assurance soon relaxed and fell comfortably onto his body. Her eyes closed, and her breathing peaceful. It took a few minutes before the male realized that she had fallen asleep. "Silly girl..." he teased before carrying her to a couch and getting a blanket to cover her.
The angel simply stared at him sinisterly, and did not answer. "You don't know do you...haha...I knew it...you are no god..." Krion commented in an insane and yet sad manner. "Heh...but I do know who you are Krion...I do know what runs in your veins. But there's something else about you that interest me greatly. You ran away from home just to search for this one girl. What is she to you Krion? That'll you would give up everything you had before. Even your family." The angel replied before snapping his fingers to summon waves of darkness from underneath Krion's feet. In a matter of moments they soon swallowed him into another world...into the Devil's world.
In this world where dark clouds fill the night sky and from them rain that never ends, Krion found himself standing on the rooftop of an apartment building. The Devil stood hiding in the shadows of the other end. Around them was an entire city of dim lights, making sight blur and hard to see.
"If you had to choose...which would you choose? Your beloved?", the Devil raised one of his hands and a spotlight was shone towards one of the skyscraper's tall cross like head behind him. On it, a young girl was chained up asleep. "Or your sister perhaps?", snapping his fingers another spotlight was shone towards another girl on a similar skyscraper behind Krion. "Either way...I won't let you have any of them." The black winged angel taunted while pointing his swords at Krion. Caught in the dilemma of his own feelings, Krion simply charged forward with his existing weapons and swung them as hard and fast as he could. However once again hitting nothing as the angel vanished and appeared before him a second or two later to send him flying with a swing of his purple sword. Krion unable to help himself flew too far and fell off the building.
"I know what I want...I know what matters to me the most. And...there's no way...there's no way I'm letting such a small thing like defeating you! Get in my way of seeing her again!" Krion cried out as he switched his swords back to rifle mode and fired twin shots straight towards the ground. The force and impact to his surroundings soon caused his body to ascend vertically upwards, and finally stopping at the rooftop level. His journey then quickly continued as he kicked the ground to ascend higher into the skies. Switching his rifle back into a sword, he joined both weapons together and with the extra weight came crashing down towards the angel. Unfortunately for him, the angel vanished once more...this time reappearing above him. As soon as Krion realized where the angel was, he fired the twin rifles in sword mode towards the rooftop. Blasting himself straight into the angel, and clashing swords with him with an impact equal to the Devil's. Continuing his attack, Krion separated his swords but before he could make his next move...he found himself falling back down...and his rifles had ran out of energy...he had reached his limit with them. Taking the opportunity to finish it the angel extended his sword to summon eleven blades, before using his wings to send himself dashing towards Krion.
However before he could even touch him, a pair of white energy shaped like angel wings sliced through the air between them...sending the signal for the angel to stop. Even though he was no longer being attacked, the emotionally and physically worn out teenager still couldn't help himself from crashing into the flooded rooftop floor. His body soon soaked into the cold numbing waters of the sky's tears and found itself, no longer capable of movement. The black winged angel landed gracefully besides him. On his face a slight smirk of fulfillment as he turned his attention to another teenager in a sleeveless long coat standing on another end of the rooftop. His hair one side jelled to the other, and his fringe hiding his eyes as he approached slowly with white winged swords in hand. "I've seen enough Legion, he obviously cares more for her then anything else...even his family. You were right...you were dead right..."
"Now that my point is proven...I believe we have other matters to attend to...shall we?" the angel asked as with a snap of his fingers their surroundings returned to normal. And Krion found himself lying on the roadside, but it was still raining. With the last once of strength he had, he turned his head to see the Devil’s accomplice extending out a pair of white wings...and his suspicions confirmed.
"Sorry Hien..." he whispered into the background of the pouring rain.
"But this is the road...the only road...where I can see her again."
"Even if it has your disapproval all over it...I can't stop now."
"Someone once said, in order to have something dear to hold on to...once we began something. We should see through it to the end. I remember...that person...was you"
The white winged teenager turned his head to look at his brother one last time, and commented before taking flight into the rainy skies.
"I know."
You don't have to remind me...I know.

Through the midnight rain, behind the twilight's gaze.
To see your blossoming smile, she mesmerizes me in every way.
Across the chaste moon, besides the river's sway.
To be in touch of your gentle light, she comforts me mainly this way.
Piercing the solemn lock, warming the frozen lake.
She may never be mine, but my lost... silent smile...
Is at least surely here to stay.
[Haha...I'm love sick...but I know I'll never find the ONE. Haha...guess this is my life. ]

In the city of mirwi, a central city of trade for all over earth to mars. A tall mostly glass decorated skyscraper stood at the center of this magnificent technological achievement. The black shaded glass made the insides of the tower seem as though it was always night, the perfect atmosphere for any lover of the darkness and a typical headquarters for the black crusaders. This city was famous for its close link to mars mainly due to its craft launcher that makes use of electrically charged magnets to repel spacecrafts with so much force that they’ll reach the galactic space station in between the two planets. And from there the space station will launch the craft to mars. In return the process is repeated in mars as well and goods are transported to earth. As the earth rotates around the sun and is constantly spinning on its own axis, goods can only be transported over a certain period of time in one year. After the comfort zone, any goods launched would most likely not be able to reach mars.
In the enormous male bathroom of the famous black tower, three fellow black crusader members stood in attention in front of their commander. A rumored ruthless man with no hesitation to kill or fire anyone, rumored just to make people fear him when in fact...he was just a stand in for the real commander. He was a middle-aged man, kind of short compared to his colleagues and had a distinguishing bushy moustache under his black sunglasses. He was sitting comfortably behind his nicely placed desk in the bathroom before all of a sudden standing up and shouting towards the crusaders. "Are you telling me that even with two jets and an fully upgraded EVO unit, that one insignificant VIPER got away from you three?"
"Well technically, our EVO hasn't been fine tune yet...and come on! How do you expect us to catch something that was able to vanish into thin air!" one of them stepped up to defend them. His hair long and smooth covered his frustrated eyes from the disappointed commander. "You lost the runaway Krion... Am I right?" the commander asked once more. Not being able to deny the truth, Krion could only nod silently for his response. "Well then you three shall face the punishment." The commander ordered as he took out three plungers from behind him. "But sir!" the three protested but their pleas were unheard and they were still handed the plungers. "No buts! You three failed and now you have to face the consequences and plunge down the waste in those toilet bowls."
Knowing that there was no way out, the three took hold of their plungers and began their work. Each desperately working hard to dispose of the disgusting waste in the toilet bowls. "Sheesh! What kind of punishment is this anyway? For goodness sake why can't we hire a plumber to fix these cubicles?" the female of the three complained as she pushed the flush button only to have the water splashing upwards, almost hitting her.
"Well our organization isn't exactly funded by charity you know? Besides this serves as a very morale boosting punishment. Wouldn't you say?" The commander explained as he busily looked through the paperwork on his desk. There was no reply for a moment. "There's another thing I don't get sir, why are you here?" a dashing purple haired crusader asked curiously.
"Well Teris as you know my office is under renovations, and well I needed a place to continue my work...so here I am."
Just as the commander finished his explanation, Krion heard from the opposite cubicle, "Now, now Rika he's not gay...I'm sure he has his reason." Teris seemed to be talking to himself again...or perhaps someone else? Krion had caught his colleague talking to this Rika person for more then one occasion, and each time there was no one there. Krion couldn't be sure if he was insane or perhaps Rika was his split personality. Well whoever she or he was, that comment made Krion chuckled. Before asking the commander, "Why here then?"
"Well it's the only place that isn't hooked up with a spy camera, and well...it's convenient for me as well. Now...if you'll excuse me, I have other business to attend to." As the commander finished his last explanation, he made his way to the nearest cubicle and well...did his business. A moment later, a very disturbed "Ewww!" was shouted.
Three hours later the three were finally done with their work and decided that it was time to take a break by going out for some fresh air. On their way out, they witness a young man shouting desperately to the lady working at the information counter. "She's been taken away by force! Don't tell me you so called crusaders of justice are just going to sit by and do nothing?"
"I'm sorry sir but without confirmation that the culprit is in the old castle, we cannot just launch our people. Its been forbidden that no one is allowed in there without authorization." The lady pleaded as she tried to calm the man down.
"What crap is that? You people are just trying to get out of going after that angel! Don't you see how urgent the situation is? He kidnapped her and escaped into the castle! If we don't go after them soon...she may forever be lost from me! I...I can't let that happen!"
At that moment, from those desperate heart felt words of the young man...Krion could help it but sympathized with him.
"Recently there had been numerous reports of angels kidnapping teenage girls. I suspect...it was the same case with her." A younger Teris preached the young teen as he placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. The two were standing solemnly, close to the edges of a cliff where the teenager’s lover was supposed to wait. Yes...he was late, but she wasn't at home...or at the possible places. It was the only answer left.
"Helpless."
"What?"
"I couldn't do anything to prevent this...and so I deem myself helpless."
"Oh forget it! I'm going there myself!" the young man snapped as he began storming out of the building. But just as he was supposed to leave, Krion got hold of his shoulder and told the man to follow him. Teris could immediately see where the troubled ones where heading by the direction Krion was running to. His partner worried for the two, stepped up and asked, "Would it be okay to let them go just like that?"
"We wouldn't be able to stop them anyway. When it comes to the matters of the heart...one would even go to the ends of the world if he must."
In a matter of moments, the two were riding out of the hanger on Krion's own custom upgraded motorcycle. It had large side skirts, and a slick black design shape with an armored head to knock down obstacles ahead. The old castle they were going to was actually part of a museum. There, contained many artifacts of the past. Stuff that where made before the world was plunging into darkness, before mars and earth made contact, the place where many legends of the worlds came from. Therefore this historical site had become more or less a forbidden area where no one was supposed to trespass unless given permission and escorted in. However if you look at it in a criminal sort of way, if you could get in...it would become an excellent hideout. As the two were nearing the castle, Krion noticed that there were only two guards in their way in order to get across the bridge that would let them straight into the castle’s doors. "Hold on tight!" Krion suggested as he placed the full throttle on his cycle, causing them to dash forward while accelerating quickly. The guards were caught by surprise as the cycle forcefully broke through their gates and headed towards the run downed castle. The guards gave chase at first but as soon as the cycle was in the castle walls and the two trespassers were escaping through the first corridors, the guards no longer dared to continue onwards. Krion and the young man then quickly got off the cycle and began their search through the rooms of old relics.
"He's some where here...I just know it!" The young man assured himself as they walked by ancient relics ranging from paintings of angels and devils, to armors, swords and even old scrolls written in a language that no one thus far had been able to decipher. They were all impressive looking, and oddly didn't bear any smell whatsoever. "What's your name?" Krion asked as they proceeded through another door and into another room. "It's Aaron." the man replied as he took a good look of the next room. It was pretty much empty except for the human size statue of a hooded reaper with black angel wings extending outwards from its back. "Nice..." Krion commented as they went closer to take a better look. However just as Krion was about to place a hand on the art piece, a loud crashing sound could be heard from the room opposite them. "He's there!" the young man cried out but was stopped from rushing to the room by Krion's extended free arm. "I know..." Krion explained as they slowly approached the old wooden door. When it was opened, they could clearly see the angel looking for something in a messy scroll cupboard. He had yellowish short hair and was pretty much half naked so that he could extend his wings. The lady they were looking for was lying on the floor peacefully. She seemed to be soundly asleep, other then that she looked perfectly fine. "Give her back to me!" the young man shouted all of a sudden, startling the angel. Gracefully he turned back to take a look at the ones who had disturbed his search.
"Ah...you came...surprisingly. I thought all humans were cowards only worrying about themselves." he recognized and mocked. Unable to stand the angel's words, Krion ordered the angel, "Return her!"
"That...I'm afraid I cannot do." The angel finally answered as with a wave of his hand, he sent the two flying back into the other room with an invisible force that shut the door as they flew. Landing almost on the other side of the room, Krion quickly got back up angrily and began charging back towards the previous room. However a giant scythe swinging downwards harshly stopped him in his steps. Turning to the direction of the scythe, Krion saw the incredibly crafted statue slowly gaining life. Soon the reaper was alive and breathing heavily. Its hood covering any sight of its face as it fell onto the floor. Crawling a few steps before trying to stand up, the reaper took a deep breath and gave out a terrifying roar. Aaron was shocked beyond believe by the sight and took a few steps backwards till he found himself backed up onto a wall. Trying his best to keep his distance from the creature.
"Now this...is impressive." Krion commented excitedly as he drew his custom twin swords from under his coat. The reaper's eyes glowed brightly upon Krion's words and it gave a mighty swing of his weapon at its admirer. Krion blocked the swing, but the impact sent him flying into a wall. Swiftly Krion twisted his body to land horizontally on his legs and then repelling himself back by kicking the very same wall. The reaper's movement was too slow to react and Krion sliced off one of its arms to reduce his fall back onto the floor. The reaper in response swung its scythe at Krion again instead of screaming in pain. Stunned by the unexpected events, Krion found himself almost being stabbed by the weapon's blade if not for the creature's lousy aim. However he was still knocked back by the handle and accidentally tripped and fell. The reaper giving no time for Krion to recover continued its vicious attack with another swing downwards. In the nick of time, Krion was luckily able to block the incoming attack. The impact caused his entire body to sink further into the ground as he cried out in frustration, "I'm not...I'm definitely not going to let such a thing end me!" Using every last ounce of strength left in him he slowly lifted the scythe upwards with his crossed swords and began slowly getting back up onto his feet. "Not you, not him. Not even that annoying angel!" Krion shouted as he slanted his body to one side while allowing the scythe to swing down, nicely missing him. And with a few light-footed steps, Krion made a spin and slashed off the reaper's other arm. This time the creature growled in frustration, as it took a few steps backwards before all of a sudden returning back to its original form...an inanimate object. "Awe...awesome..." Aaron exclaimed as he approached the panting, worn out teenager.
"No...I'm still not strong enough." Krion disagreed as he tried to catch his breath while barely standing up. "But still...why did you fought so hard to help me?" Aaron couldn't help but ask when he saw Krion dragging himself towards the wooden door. Krion decided not to answer, as he opened it and found that the room was now missing of an angel and a lady, he couldn't help but collapse...he had lost another lead...there was no longer a reason to go on with their search.
Where am I?
You're awake.
I'm awake?
You know...perhaps...you weren't meant to save anyone...perhaps the only person you should be saving...is yourself.
Myself huh?
Do I need saving?
Yes...desperately.
Then my reason to go on stays the same...
Why?
Only she could save me...my heart...will accept no one else.
Haha...
"I see...so that's why he fought so desperately...something similar happened to him as well..." Aaron said to himself while standing at a corner of the medic room. Right after Krion had fainted, his fellow black crusaders ironically arrived and brought him to their own medic room in the black tower. The very same lady that was serving punishment with Krion before was now at his bedside. Whispering into his ear, and oddly the worn out teenager was whispering back. Soon they were done and the lady was just about to leave, when the observing young man asked, "Is he going to be alright?"
"Yeah...he just need some rest." The lady replied as she turned the doorknob, but stopped when she realized that there was more that needed to be asked. "So...what are you going to do now?"
"I'm not too sure as well..."
"Well what ever choice you make...I hope you choose wisely. There are the things that we want to do...but then again, those things may not be the things that we can do."
"I understand...but I wonder what choice would Krion's one be then?"
"Did you need to ask? Obviously one of a very stubborn fool."

Zuru four~ Her, just her
Logic. Emotions. Which would you follow? Most times...though you try desperately...logic is your only option. Unless...you're willing to give up everything else...emotions are just the hinders of life. A young man once had a choice. To follow his heart, or forget about it all...take it, as she never existed. And, he made a choice.
That very same young man, wearing a black long sleeve coat with matching jeans slowly got out of his car. His hair was now considerably long, and his clothing was that resembles the mark of black crusaders. An organization formed to protect the world from devils, angels and even humans. They are there to maintain the fragile balance and peace of the world. However most of the time, their tactics and ways are most cruel...and so their dress code was always to wear something black, to signify their impure dealings and job. As a top-notch organization with funding from all over the world, they had access to almost every single kind of weapon imaginable...but most are kept confidential and considered a secret to be protected. With so much power in one organization, the leader of it could just as easily take over the earth then protecting it. However their leader to almost every member was so called unknown...not even a name...it was though to give them the impression that he didn't exist. But they knew he was there...more or less they were sure of it. It was said that they recruited members based on their abilities or so-called higher-level humans...each had a choice to join in order to protect their world. This young man however joined for a different reason.
"Hey Krion wait up!" the young man's partner said as he too got out of the car, his partner had already gone ahead to the burning childcare center. The center was two stories tall and was joined together with other shops like a terrace home. In front of it was a small park with an included playground, making the center the perfect location for a childcare. Krion firstly approached a young lady carrying a boy not older then three and asked, "Where is he?" The lady, frightened and confused replied in a shaky manner while pointing up to the second story, "Upp...up th'ere." Knowing where the objective was, he charged up to the burning building and knocked down the wooden door. "What about the fire? Aren't you going to wait for the firemen?" his worried partner asked. "No need to." Was Krion's reply as he braved through the heat to the second floor. It was one of those cases...where a demon awakens due to a moment of anger, or at times sorrow. When it happens...often it isn't a pretty sight, their behavior becomes berserk and they start killing or destroying. Most cases of such awakenings only happen for young little kids. When their powers had not fully developed. However that doesn't mean there hadn't been ones where they awaken with truly frightening consequences. Fortunately for him, he had never witness one before. His objective today as anyone would have guessed it by now, was a young child devil who had awaken. The fire raging around him now was most probably the child's doing.
Every devil was said to have some kind of special ability, may it be a powerful one or a weak one. Even if the ability was as small as having the ability of perfect sight and never to have a need for glasses. It was in their genes to have one. As Krion leaped over a broken stairway burnt by the flames, his coat got hooked onto a broken piece of wood, fire was quickly spreading onto it and he could pretty much guess already... This child's ability...was a sure damn annoying one! He quickly took off his coat and began running down the hallway to the estimated room the lady had previously pointed to. When he reached there, the doorknob was already glowing red, acting from instinct he took a moment to gather his strength from exhaustion before kicking down the door. Inside, the room was burning as though it was part of hell. Every piece of furniture had been burnt down or otherwise already halfway there. A young boy with smooth black hair, pointy ears and torn clothes was standing at the center of the inferno room. His head was looking down while mumbling something to himself. "Don't you think you have done enough? Stop the burning already!" Krion shouted to the child. The boy lifted up his head when he heard the stranger's voice, his eyes glowing crimson red as he replied back strongly, "No! They...they called me a demon! They said my black hair was probably caused of my burning power. Like ashes..." Yes...this was the world they lived in. With three different beings on the two worlds, such situations were common. Angels however normally would never be condemned this way. Instead they would be thought of as a blessing from the heavens...devils unfortunately...were seen as beings of evil. When in actual fact...when taking away their powers, all three were the same. It was their actions that really count. And this act of burning...would have probably scared away any friends the boy previously had.
Turning on the link between his voice transmission device on his wrist and his partner's, Krion tried his best not only to save the child from himself as well as to regain back the trust of those he knew.
"Come on kid...they were wrong! So what if you turn out to be a demon? So what if you have the ability to burn stuff? Isn't it great? To have special powers just like those in the comic books! Look... Don't tell me you truly want to burn down this place? Are the flames you conjure meant only for destruction?" The child gave a confused response, "Huh?" during the last part of Krion's speech. Scratching his head, Krion revised his last part a bit before saying, "Okay...let me put it this way...is your power only to be use to hurt people? To destroy toys? Are you evil?"
"No..." the child mumbled softly at first. Krion wasn't satisfied. "Louder." He ordered. "No." the child said. Still unsatisfied, Krion shouted to him. "Louder!"
In response a loud scream of the word 'no' soon echoed around them as the flames in the building quickly extinguished and the boy returned back to his human form. Krion made a smirk before speaking into the device he had previously turned on. "You heard him. I believe his flames won't harm anyone anymore. And to all the little kids out there, don't worry...no more toys are going to be burnt."
Krion carried the boy out of the building, and placed him among the children. Many of them then pleaded to have a piggyback ride as well. Soon Krion found himself surrounded by kids that were trying desperately to jump onto him. Krion tried to disperse them gently at first, but his smile to them was all to inviting. However...all of a sudden, that changed as Krion remembered his reason of joining this organization.
Two young teenagers were taking a relaxing walk in the park. The trees around them carried very green leafs, and were blooming with life together with the white flowers surrounding the sidewalks. The tranquility of the place provided one of the quietest and most peaceful areas in town. A lovely place for any couple to go on a date... Suddenly, one of them asked a very awkward question.
"Hey Krion...if we ever had kids...what would you name them?"
Blushing slightly, Krion took a moment to think before answering. "Hah...I have no idea...What would you name them?"
The teenage girl gave him a sly smile before answering, "Hehe...to be honest I don't really care...I just want to have them with you!"
"Heh...you'll have to be my wife first before that." Krion commented as he walked a little faster. The teenage girl smiled before catching up with Krion and giving him a hug from behind.
"Exactly."
Krion's smile changed to a frown and he shouted fiercely to the children, "Enough!" The children shocked and scared soon began to cry around him. But it didn't seem to move him, Krion instead just made a leap over them and slowly proceeded to his car. His partner followed closely behind, curious about the matter he gave Krion a tap on his shoulder. "What do you want?" came a cold harsh reply for him. "Well...it's just that you seem happy with the children at first, but then all of a sudden you became...well...like now...what happened?" his worried partner asked.
Without returning back his answer, Krion got into the car quickly, and locked the doors. Leaving his partner and his annoying questions outside of the car...but the knocking sounds on the door could still be heard and so to but an end to it... Krion just simply drove away.
About a year ago when his smiles were still often...someone took her away from him. According to one of the commanding officers in the organization, recently young girls like her were being kidnapped for some reason. The kidnappers were also said to be extraordinary beings, and so in order to find those responsible...and to find her again. The best option was to join this organization...the "Black Crusaders."
During his wait for the traffic light to turn green on a junction, the car's voice transceiver reported to him. "Paging unit X-09 EVO, a red S-R5 VIPER is on the run. Do you copy? Your objective, capture the driver and bring him back for questioning." All of a sudden, a red car dashed past by Krion's. Grabbing the answering phone he gave a short report back to the headquarters. "On it." Before dashing forward with his EVO, ignoring the red traffic light just as the run away did. Soon he picked up enough speed to shift his car into high gear, and quickly caught up with the VIPER. The driver from that car seemed to take notice and began trying to shake Krion off by entering a very sharp turn to the left. Krion followed suit the best he could with the turn, lowering his speed...his car drifted a good amount of distance and nearly crashed into another car before Krion shifted the gears back up and continued his pursuit onwards. However the road onwards wasn't as favorable as he had hoped for. It was winding with many curves and hairpins for a good amount of distance, the kind of road that his car could not perform well with. For the VIPER unit however, it was designed for such roads...and so its name. Whoever the driver was, he knew his cars well enough to put a black crusader on the disadvantage...
As Krion saw how well the driver pulled off the change of directions of drifts in a snake like pattern, he made another assumption. The runaway...was no amateur when it came to driving as well. Having a hard time pulling off the drifts with his car, Krion found himself often scratching car or bumping into something. However his car with its wide body kits and advance engine modifications was designed to take such damage and still maintain its speed. Still...he found himself slowly lagging behind, at this rate he was going to lose his runaway. Soon the road came back upon a straight path, and Krion let out a sign of relief as his car began closing in on the runaway again. They were soon nearing another junction on the road, but this time ahead of them were speeding vehicles dashing in another direction. "Is he trying to play chicken?" Krion asked himself while the two cars were soon heading into collision course. Lowering his speed, Krion allowed the runaway to go first thinking that the driver was sure to stop. To his surprise, the VIPER maintained its speed and was heading straight into the heavy traffic. Riskily the car dashed past numerous vehicles of its kind and more. Even pulling off a stunt as extreme as going under an oil tanker and coming out in one piece. Knowing his limits, Krion immediately pushed the breaks before entering the traffic lane. Breaking just in time before damaging anymore of his car. Letting the runaway...run away. Taking out the answering phone, he began paging their headquarters. "Paging black tower, this is unit X-09 EVO. The runaway...has escaped. I repeat. The EVO is unable to continue pursing it."
Almost immediately as soon as Krion finished what he had to report, two black jets fly past by him...and his transceiver device answered his call. "This is unit W-39 Blackwings. We acknowledge your failure and we'll take it from here."
Recognizing the voice and the choices of words the reply had, Krion quickly realized who was mocking him. "Well you better get him! Or it'll be my turn to mock you next Teris!" Krion shouted into the answering phone
"Copy that...you can be sure you won't get the chance."
'Heh, is everyone trying to get on my nerves today?' Krion wondered before getting his car back started and driving back to the childcare center...his partner was probably still waiting for him to get back. And if he was to get into trouble for not catching the runaway...at least if he went back for him, perhaps his partner wouldn't mention leaving him there to their commander. And as an added bonus, he wouldn't be scolded at alone.
She was his choice, his reasons for everything. May it be why he was annoyed, to even why his eyes just couldn't hold back his tears at times...she was, and is his only reason. Even to go on...and so he chose not to let go...

Well the second part of Ledius's drift is almost done...just one more fight scene and its back to Krion...or maybe I'll just save that part for next time...
"So long and goodnight...sin has found you." ~Leigion, the fallen angel.
"Do you Ledius Lockheart and Luna Tagellin, take each other as your unlawfully forbidden wife and husband in health, wealth, good times or bad, and most importantly, knowing the path you have taken is going against both heaven and hell?" a female priestess asked the couple before her. Both dressed in the traditional attire of a groom and bride. Upon the roof of a modern multi-story church, this solemn and unavoidable question was asked. Their truthful answer fully known would change the world.
The night was slowly passing by, time waits for no one...but it doesn't past as quickly as people think. Every second could be precious, and yet useless and pointless at the same time. Not everything makes sense, and at times they don't need to. A middle age lady was on her way home from shopping. Her tied up golden yellow hair hanging behind her white raincoat. And her emerald green eyes filled with loneliness. There was no one to go home to tonight...everyone was out doing his or her own thing. And the sky looked cold as well as disheartening. Dark clouds showed signs of a down pour soon. The lady slowly made her way to the bus stop ahead of her. During times like this, how she wished that her husband didn't had to leave...but it couldn't be helped. Or that's what she always tells herself. Boarding the bus that soon arrived, she recalled the many times that she smiled and laughed with him. The times where they would have ice cream together under the stars. And that she would always take an extra lick from his whenever he wasn't looking. Till the day he left, he didn't seem to realize why his ice cream always finished so quickly. But now all that was left was the rain to keep her company. The droplets of water began falling hard on to the window besides her, each splashing into many more droplets in an array of different lights due to the lit town area around her. Different stalls past by, ranging from post offices to even card shops, but each holding very little interest to her. However just as she passed by an odd looking skyscraper, time seemed to stop for a second...and a warm feeling came over her. A feeling that she hadn't felt for a very long time, a feeling she had missed so much. Time quickly resumed its pace, and the skyscraper was almost out of sight. Pushing the alighting bell, she quickly proceeded to the doors and waited to alight at the next stop. Luckily for her, it wasn't very far away, and the skyscraper was still in walking distance away. Taking out her hood, she began her walk under the pouring rain.
Her heart began beating faster as she approached the building, he was here...she was almost sure of it. However as the automatic glass doors slide open, and a cold gust of air rushed out upon her face. She realized in the refreshing breezy that took away the previous feeling... "What am I doing? He can't be here... My feelings...they are probably just playing a trick on me..." Before long, she stepped back out. And the glass doors swooshed back to their original positions. Closing away the air-conditioned air within, and letting the middle-aged lady continue her wandering way in the rain. After she left, a hooded man in a black raincoat proceeded out. Looking around in hope to find the person he was looking for, he soon sighed and before long returned back into the building. The heavy rain and numerous people wearing raincoats made it hard to recognize anyone. Causing the man's hope to diminish quickly into the sounds of the heavy rain.
"What's the matter Ledius?" a man wearing a white suit asked from behind him. His hair was jelled up to show clearly his emerald eyes while his hands were tucked comfortably in his pockets. The other man pulled back his hood and let down his considerably stylish long hair before replying sadly, "It's nothing...for a moment there...I thought she was just outside."
"Well her home isn't pretty far away, you should visit her if you have the time." The business like man commented as he began his journey back to his office. Ledius followed suit not far behind. The lobby was fully carpeted and had two long stairways leading up to another floor. A counter was located in between the two stairs and security guards stood besides it. To the left of the lobby was where they were heading. A place dedicated to an invention making use of tubes to transport people, a place known to many as simply a lift lobby. However the lifts here weren't ordinary. They had secret compartments in them to access different floors of the building. But only the president of the company could open the compartments. On their way to these lifts, Ledius suddenly replied to his comment. "I don't have the time."
"You don't have the time or you just can't come up with a better excuse for me?"
Ledius let out a sigh before he entered, his eyes showing signs of doubt as he answered. "Perhaps a little of both."
"We do." That was our surely and truthful answer. We thought that no matter what happened...we would always be together. Against hell, or against heaven, we thought that nothing was going to break us apart. Yes, it was our wishful thinking. As we answered, we turned our backs to each other...and fired an array of dark and light arrows at the uninvited guests. A group of high reapers and angels had crashed the party.
The arrows were dead on target, with the dark ones engulfing the angels and the light subduing the reapers. "Heh, what do you say you guys? Lets get this party started!" one of the guest dressed in a formal suit suggested as he summoned his twin spears from thin air. A number of others followed suit with their own range of weapons, from machine guns to even a cross like staff from the priestess who quickly joined in the battle.
They had come...to try to prevent our wedding...those who couldn't accept the fact that we love each other...that though forbidden...we choose to wed. Our parents were dead. Perhaps they would have forbid it as well, but they weren't here to now...so it didn't matter. Our friends, siblings at least they were okay with it...
"You do realize what you're asking for could very well be suspected as terrorism." The man dressed in white asked as he read the documents Ledius had brought before him. "Well your company is a neutral company and it allows all its transitions to be done confidentially. Or are you changing your policy soon? Mr. president?" The president of the company was at a loss, its policy clearly does stat what Ledius had asked for...however the request from him was a bit too outrages to agree upon. "If it's the money...I can pay you in full now..." Ledius assured as he found the president's silence a bit too disturbing. "No...it's not the money..."
"I see...then give me a straight answer and I'll be on my way." Ledius said politely as he began packing up his documents into a black suitcase. He could recognized the facial expression on his troubled face and realized that his answer may not what be what he had hoped for. It was only a few minutes later before the president asked worriedly. "What are you going to do with so many dreads anyway?" Ledius showed him a smirk and stopped packing before replying, "In case of an invasion..."
"But how could you be so sure there may be one?"
"Hey, I said in case didn't I? Don't tell me you don't trust me? Okay...we'll add another condition in the contract. You keep the dreads safe. I won't touch them unless they are needed." Ledius replied hastily, not knowing how much he would regret that decision later on.
"Well...first of all...I said maybe...and since you are my brother in law...I guess...I'll do it then." The man dressed in white agreed as he took out a pen to sign his name on the documents.
"You have my thanks then Renoir." Ledius thanked as he gave him a graceful bow before leaving his office. The night was getting late, and indeed there was little time left before his flight departs...but still...he had one last thing to do...or should he say his friend did.
The night continued it's heavy down pour, and the moon rays were lost behind the dark clouds. With flowers in hand and a trench raincoat, a young teenager made his way towards the designated apartment. Knocking thrice, he waited for the door to open. He was here on an important errand...well perhaps not that important to him, as he would rather be sleeping on his comfortable bed at the hotel. But it was important to his caregiver...so he couldn't say no... When the door finally opened, he saw a gorgeous golden haired lady in causal clothing. The young teenager almost lost himself in her eyes if not for the unexpected phone call from her house. The lady quickly ran back in to pick up the call, leaving the young teen standing there like there was no tomorrow. Well at least he wasn't bored, as he could hear the lady's honey sweet voice from the door.
"Hello?"
"Oh Krion, you'll be late today...okies got it."
"Umm...well they're not home if that's what you wanted to know."
"Oh...you think you know where they are? Haha...okays don't come home too late then you three."
When she came back, she sincerely apologized with a bow. "Oh I'm so sorry, did you wait long?" The teen a bit shaken by the lady's concern shook his head and hastily handed her the bouquet of black roses and a card before running away as fast as he could in embarrassment soon after. He was afraid that she might have mistaken that the flowers were from him...so he decided that it would have been too awkward to stay. The lady surprised by the teenager's odd behavior, couldn't help but let out a giggle before opening the card to see who the flowers were from.
Dear Luna,
I know I haven't been home for 12 years now, but you know why I had to leave...perhaps you hate me for leaving...but it was something I just had to do. Hah...I'm not even sure if you still remember this lousy husband of yours, but he remembers and misses you every second of his life. These roses are for you. I know it's odd to send black flowers, but we promised each other before didn't we? I'll show you the darkness, and you'll show me the light. See you soon...
Love,
Ledius
The one who's sorry and whose heart is fondly missing you.
The lady upon finishing reading took one of the roses and enchanted it with light. Causing the rose to turn snow white in appearance. She then stepped out to the balcony and let the rose fall. The rain during the delivery had gotten smaller, almost decreasing to nothing. Allowing the solo rose to timely fall back down to it's deliverer to be delivered back to the one who sent for him.
It was a night similar to the weather ten years later, heavy rain...and fond hearts. A young man stood on the ledge of the roof of an apartment building. Lost in his emotions and regret of what he must do. His hood was pulled to his back, leaving his entire head unprotected by the cold, tasteless drops of water. He felt the rain as a way to comfort his sorrow. A way for his tearless eyes to cry...
A group of others wearing raincoats soon approached him from behind. "Are you sure this is what you want?" one of them asked in a solemn tone. The not hooded man shook his head before replying sadly, "I don't have a choice."
"Hey come on...we can do it without you! We don't need you to mess things up and hold us back!" another of the group shouted harshly. Trying his best to convince the poor soul not to go. Ledius upon hearing that, closed his eyes in frustration before arguing back strongly, "But...it was partially because of me that he became this way! If...if Luna and I hadn't fall in love...then they wouldn't had tortured him to that state! They wouldn't had killed her in the process..."
"Then shouldn't Luna be coming along as well?" A four speaker asked, but Ledius decided not to answer him...it was going nowhere...they seem determined not to let him go along with them...even though they knew why he had to...but they didn't know the guilt and pain he was feeling...and so he lied.
As soon as they left, he boarded his private jet...but not before visiting his special someone first...She was asleep at that time, but that was the only reason why he dared to go back...While giving her a kiss on her forehead, he whispered softly to her ear, "Goodbye my dear...the children can't do without a mother...so allow me to take the burden for the both of us...I'll end it for you...I promise."
All of a sudden, a young child's voice disturbed his moment. "Daddy? Where are you going?" Ledius was surprised by the fact that one of his sons was still awake, he kneeled down and gave him a hug so that he could stalled for time to think of what to say to him. After a moment of thought, he let go and said to the boy, "Daddy has to go to somewhere far away, and he won't be coming back soon. I know you may not be the oldest Hien...but I know you'll grow up to be a responsible adult. So take care of them for me...can you do that son?" The young child nodded to his father's request, and saw him slowly letting him go...before leaving through the large wooden door.
And so he left...not knowing that they would be separated for twelve long years...and even then...it still hasn't ended. Light was still sinned.
