Seven strikes to defeat? (Part two, cause I was sleepy and didn't finish.)
Krion continued to run as fast as he could, though the road seemed endless in the pitch black darkness. He didn't hesitate at all to run full stream ahead. Nothing seem to matter to him anymore, but getting there...to see her smile again. Soon there was a small glimpse of light ahead.
'Out of the darkness, out of the shadows. Towards my light...that only you can bring to me.'
Krion soon found himself out of the tunnel of darkness, but what stood infront of him was soon going to stop him in his tracks. Thousands of demons had gathered under this giant chamber, apparently what Krion had just went through was just one of the many portals that led the demons here. On the other side of this army, was what look like a resting place for the souls.
"There...", Krion whispered as his eyes just happened to see it in the crowd of mess.
All of a sudden, a large beam of black light shone down from the sky. Out appeared a very well armored demon, with a very deadly spear his hand. His hair so long that it reached the bottom of his legs, covering part of his devil-wings. He spoke with such a stern voice that even Krion was dazzled by it.
"Welcome my minions! I've called you here today is because our dear prince's soul had been captured...by the one name Lockheart- Ledius! Hell will not let this matter off so easily...till he is returned, we shall raise chaos on those with the same blood! Starting with...him!" the large demon said as he pointed a finger towards Krion.
All the demons in the chamber then turned to face their prey, their eyes burning for the sight of blood. Krion drew his guns and prepared himself for one of the most aggravating 'against the odds' battle he had ever faced.
"Great...just great." he commented as he fired the first rounds of bullets around him and leaped into the air.
Back on the other side, Hien was having a hard time dealing with his recently met assassin. Kenyin's attacks were as precised as they could get, with each turn and leap...he could dodge attacks easily by just a spin of his body and as easily unleashed an attack with his extendable sword of light.
"Seven strikes more, that's all I need..." Kenyin commented as he stopped and pointed his sword at Hien.
Hien got very frustrated, he never knew that anyone could fight like that...let alone be so confident to defeat him in seven strikes. "Even so...I must." he whispered as he used his own sword to change the direction of where Kenyin's one was pointing.
Taking that as a queue to begin, Kenyin ran forward and extended his sword before swinging it towards Hien. As the two swords clashed, Hien wasn't able to deflect the blow properly and was sent flying. However he quickly recovered in mid air to block the second in coming attack from Kenyin's extendable sword. As Hien began to fall back down to the ground, Kenyin rushed front to greet him. Trying to defend himself, Hien got his sword ready to block any attacks coming from the front. Unfortunately, just before they made contact...Kenyin spun towards the side and slashed him from the back. Without giving Hien a chance to recover, he tried to slash him again with a sharp wave of light energy. To his surprise, Hien turned back just in time to defend from the wave and also from the second try that Kenyin did in the split second.
"Just two more left..." Hien commented as he stood in a defensive pose.
Smiling, Kenyin unleashed a tremendous force of light energy from his sword just as he replied, "One left!"
Hien was sent crashing into the wall, losing grip of his sword...he laid back on the wall not knowing exactly how what to do next.
Kenyin took one last look at Hien, before unleashing his final blow directly at his heart.
A giant flash of light then blinded everyone for a while as his sword came in contact with Hien.
"It's done..."
"Heh...I'm sorry to say...not quite yet..." Hien interrupted as he stepped out of the dent he had made in the wall, and let go of the sword he had just caught with his bare hands.
"Impressive..." Kenyin commented as he swung his sword towards Hien once more.
Using an invisible force, Hien barely blocked the attack...but was sent flying again.
Falling hard on his shoulder...he stood back up once more, ready to face another attack from the God Slayer.
"Tell...me. Why do you struggle so much? Wouldn't it be better if you just accept your fate?" Kenyin asked in an annoyed manner as he sent Hien crashing into another wall again.
Panting, Hien replied softly as he stood back up again.
"Even so...I must. With the sorrow that ties me with this world...as long as I can't let go of it. I'll continue to struggle. Till I take my last breath, I'll keep standing back up!"
