[Part three, "Questionable"]

Questions, questions and more questions. Isn't that what life offers? And no matter how many we solve, there would still be an endless sea of many more. Our actions, feelings, thoughts, words, strength...are they all not questionable? So...why? Why with all the dreams? Why with all the ambitions? Why fight? Why give up? Why anything? I'm even starting to question why I begun on this journey for revenge in the first place...but more then anything, I know I must face him. I know I must end this...after all I was the one who opened the gate. Would you forgive me? Would I forgive myself? Once I finally seal back the gates...if it is possible that is.

Reina...have you found something I haven't? Is that why you went with our father? Or was it your wanting for answers did you leave. Where do you stand in all of this mess that I've created? I wonder...

And Krion...what is it that happened to you that made you smile like you are now...and with that smile you seem to have gotten stronger as well...wheras I...I don't seem to have changed at all...I'm still as weak as ever.

Holding grudges and refusing to let go...would someone please free me from this madness? I don't think I can take much more of this...this endless fighting! When is it going to end!

What now? I'm panting? Short of breath after a few hundred steps? What am I? Human? What was I thinking! I could have flown up with my wings instead of running step by step...this isn't good...my mind ain't clear anymore...

Here I am...what lies behind this door I can't really say I know, but...I'm alone now...no one can save me if I fail...so...I have to promise. I no longer want to be weak. I will be strong. For...for no ones sake?

Meanwhile back on the first floor, Krion was having a hard time in delivering a killer blow. There was no room to lanuch anything at all, the attacks from Isenyu just kept coming without leting up for a rest. Not only that, Krion seem to be getting tired with each passing second...and soon enough a mighty kick from Isenyu sent Krion crashing into the walls of the castle.

"Heh...looks like I can't out last you huh?" Krion joked as he took his time to get up.

"Guess not." Isenyu said calmly as if nothing had happened. In appearance he looked as if he hadn't even broke a sweat, still strong as ever and it looked like he could have gone on for hours without stopping. 'I have to find a better way to fight against him...' Krion thought as he searched his waist for anything that might give him an advantage. Soon he found the twin pistols that he used to use so much, and then it struck him. If they had worked against Kenyin, then why not this God slayer before him? Quickly changing his weapons, Krion gave a grin and bet on his luck or as he puts it 'theory'.

"Lets give it a shot then ne?" Krion said to himself as he pulled the trigger and examined the effect, just like any scientist would do in an experiment.

Preditably enough, Isenyu defended himself with a spin of his spear and blocked the incoming bullet. However, soon more and more faster and stronger bullets began heading for his direction.

"It is futile, no matter how impactive your bullets may be. I can simply change their directions with the claw blades of my weapon." he commented as true enough, every bullet had been countered. And without any warning, Isenyu fired a combined wave of dark and light energy.

Giving out a sigh, Krion thought to himself, 'Why does almost everyone know how to counter bullets...' before firing his own bullet of light and dark energy. As the two powers collided and exploded in a beautiful mist of twilight, Krion quickly took the opportunity to fire another string of bullets. The bullets broke through the mist and quickly caught Isenyu by surprise.

However before any of the bullets could reach him, a powerful wave of dark wind gather them together and slowly landed them in the palm of Isenyu's hand. When the mist cleared, a grining Isenyu revealed the bullets before by dropping them on the ground one by one. "It appears I cannot finish this battle with you one with two shadows. The darkness is calling...apparently the angels are winning. And I cannot allow that." he explained before dissappearing into the shadows of the chamber.

'For many, it would have seem that their foe had chicken out...but with that last displayment of the darkness. I wonder...could I have really won if he had fought with full strength from the begining?'

Meanwhile, at the second chamber the door to the chamber of angels had been opened. Within it lay many statues of angels, some holding their weapons for war. Others held babies to represent mercy...in the mess of angels five of them were larger and more detailed then the rest and guarded all corners of the chamber. As Hien took his first step into the chamber, the large statue of a devil like angel began to glow bright red. Soon, the rock pieces began falling apart bit by bit. A red glow quickly filled the room as the angel awakened and unleashed it's aura.

"You have come..." it spoked with a solemn voice as it looked down to gaze upon the light blury arura around Hien.

"Have you been waiting for me? Why?" Hien asked, puzzled at the great being before him...it's body was covered with armor as crimson as the colour of blood, and its mouth doesn't seem to open whenever it speaks...it's eyes hidden under it's helmet...it brought about the aura of many death with it's crimson glow.

The angel kept silent for a moment before finally replying, "To end this meaningless sorrow."

"Then let me through..." Hien requested hopefully as he began walking to the other side.

"That I cannot. With your death will then the sorrow end..."the angel explained as it drew it's dual bladed lance and stabbed it in front of Hien to stop his way.

"That may be true...but there's something I need to do first kay?" Hien said sadly as he stepped past the lance and was just about to opened the door when suddenly, an invinsible force pulled him back and sent him crashing into the door he came from.

"I cannot wait. With each second past, the lord would want more and more angels. And in the end their meaningless existance would be but to end. Unless the problem is solved soon...many more empty souls would be born." the angel explained sadly as he hinted Hien to battle.

Feeling hopelessly lost, Hien drew his father's sword as well as Kenyin's. For right now...he no longer wanted to fight, to stuggle...he felt as if he should die just then and forget about everything else. Gripping his sword's tightly, he charged forth to try to end this battle in one swift blow. However, the crimson angel froze Hien's movements with an invinsible force again. It then crushed Hien down on to the floor and prepared to carry out the lord's judgement, but before it could made his move...a different invinsible force in the form of a barrier stopped it.

"What do ya think you're doing lying there! Get up!" a female's voice filled the chamber.

Immediately Hien was filled with strength and hope as he realized whose voice it was, finally making an effort to fight back...he resisted the force that was pushing him down and slowly began to stand. Surprised the angel was, but undaunted as it sent it's lance straight towards Hien. The large lance was quickly stopped by a pale transparent force, before sent flying back to it's master. Hien followed close by and as soon as the angel had caught it's lance, he extended the sword of light and swung it as hard as he could against the angel. However the blade was quickly repelled as soon as it reached the angel's body.

"It is futile if you wish to slay me by that sword. Light cannot banish light. After all...I was that light's forger." the angel explained as it retreated back to guard the door while Reina and Hien made a quick reunion.

As Reina gave her brother a big hug, she whispered to his ears, "No matter what, I'll always be standing by your side. So you don't have to worry about being alone..."

Feeling surprised and relieved Hien commented, "How...how did you knew?"

"...your eyes, it reminded me of...well...loneliness. So I thought that might cheer you up."

Hien soon found himself filled with strength...a strength he had not felt for so long...or perhaps this was what Krion had described as a heart's contentment. When your heart feels ever so light and ready to take on anything...as if you had finally found your paradise.

As he whispered back to Reina's ears, out of joy...he let out a beautiful smile that could sooth any tainted heart. "Heh, thank-you..."
